| On 03/22/2024 at 10:45 am Licensing program Analyst (LPA) Shushanik Safaryan conducted Case Management inspection to add classroom #27 to the facility’s indoor space.
Upon arrival LPA met with the Facility Representative Marisch Medina , whom the reason of the visit was explained. Compliance Director ,Jensett Tubbs came in later .Fire clearance for classroom #27 was received on 03/12/2024 and approved by Los Angeles Fire Department.
Facility capacity will still be 132 children. Updated sketch reviewed by LPA and signed by Representative.
During this visit no children were present.
At am 11:00 am , LPA toured the facility and inspected classroom#27 . The classroom furniture and equipment were inspected for good repair, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. All classrooms were inspected to ensure that the floors have a surface that is safe and clean. All materials and surfaces accessible to children are toxic free.
The facility is located on a Hancock Elementary School (LAUSD) school site .Children will use classroom #26, 27, auditorium, as well the cafeteria as the indoor space and all areas of the playground for outdoor activities. The licensee states that the children in the program will not be allowed to use the yellow and green play equipment (monkey bars), as well as the monkey bars on the purple equipment. There is an outdoor space immediately outside the auditorium with benches and tables that is being used for outdoor activities and/or eating snacks. There are no bodies of water on the premises and the outdoor space is completely fenced in.
The facility was found to be in compliance per Title 22 regulations,
A copy of this report along with a Notice of Site Visit were issued and explained to the licensee. An exit interview was conducted with Jensett Tubbs on 03/22/2024.
