25 | On 3/4/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Adrian Risher and Devon Carus conducted an Annual Inspection. LPA provided Licensee with the purpose of the visit and was granted access to the facility. LPA met with Araceli Herrera, Licensee. LPA toured the inside and outside of the property with the Licensee. LPA observed the home to be clean, safe, orderly and well ventilated. There were 2 children in care. The operating hours are Monday thru Friday 24 hours.
LPA observed the home to have a Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, 4 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The Licensee utilizes the Bedroom 1, 3, 4 and both bathrooms as the day-care. The rest of the home is inaccessible to the children. Bedroom 1 is used for napping. Bedroom 3 is used as the music room. Bedroom 4 is used as the toy and infants room. The LPA observed cribs and mats that are used for napping. The children nap in the living room. The childen eat in the dining room. The isolation area is Bedroom 3.
Licensee states that there are no weapons in the home. Licensee reports there is 1 dog in the home.
The kitchen and bathroom areas were inspected for proper storage of chemicals, detergents, cleaning compounds, medications and sharp pointed objects. These items were made inaccessible to children. Cleaning supplies are stored on the deck in the back of the home and the upper cabinet in the kitchen. Medication is stored in an upper cabinet in the infant room.
LPA observed electrical outlets with protective covers.
LPA observed operable smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors throughout the home which were tested during inspection. The home is equipped with 2 (2-A:10-B:C) Fire Extinguishers and First Aid kit which includes thermometer and band aids. The home has wall-mounted heating and air unit installed in each room of the home.
Licensee provides breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
