25 | On 06/07/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Adrian Risher conducted an Annual Inspection. LPA provided Licensee with the purpose of the visit and was granted access to the facility. LPA met with Maria Campos, Licensee. LPA toured the inside and outside of the property with the Licensee. LPA observed the home to be clean, safe, orderly and well ventilated. There were 2 children present with 4 additional children arriving while the inspection was being conducted. LPA observed 1 additional staff present during the inspection. The operating hours are 24 hours 7 days a week.
LPA observed the home to have a Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, 3 bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms. The Licensee utilizes the outside play area, garage, bedroom 3 and 2 bathrooms as the day-care. The rest of the home is inaccessible to the children. The outside play area is used for playing and daily activities. The garage is used as additional play space. The children eat in the kitchen. The children nap in Bedroom 3. LPA observed cots and play pens used for napping. The isolation area is Bedroom 3 or the garage.
Licensee states that there are no weapons in the home. Licensee reports that there are no pets in the home.
The kitchen and bathroom areas were inspected for proper storage of chemicals, detergents, cleaning compounds, medications and sharp pointed objects. These items were made inaccessible to children. The children have access to a bathroom in the garage and inside of the home. Cleaning supplies are stored in the garage inside of a cabinet with a safety latch attached.
LPA observed electrical outlets with protective covers.
LPA observed operable smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors throughout the home which were tested during inspection. The home is equipped with 1 (2-A:10-B:C) Fire Extinguisher and First Aid kit which includes thermometer and band aids. A portable heater is used to keep the daycare areas warm. LPA observed A/C units and ceiling fans that are used to keep the home cool.
Licensee provides breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.
