32 | During the initial inspection, LPA observed a staff state they had forgotten to pick up a child due to working in another classroom, but was reminded and immediately left to pick up the day care child.
It was also disclosed the facility is late to do child pick ups, children would wait between 15 minutes to 30 minutes for the facility staff to arrive, and there have been instances when parents would need to conduct the pick ups themselves.
Based on interviews conducted and evidence obtained, the facility staff have forgotten to conduct pick ups from school, have been late to the schools to pick up the children, and children's authorized representatives have had to pick up children from school. The preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the allegation is deemed substantiated.
California Code of Regulations Title 22 Division 12 Chapter 1 101223 Personal Rights Type B violation was cited. Please see LIC9099D for deficiency details.
Director was advised that the Notice of Site Visit must be posted at the entrance of the facility for a period of 30 days. A copy of this licensing report (LIC9099) must also be posted for 30 days. If these requirements are not met, civil penalties in the amount of $100 per violation will be assessed.
An exit interview was conducted, a copy of this Report, Appeal Rights, and Notice of Site Visit was provided to Director. |
