25 | On 12/04/23, at 2:00PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Diaz conducted an unannounced required inspection. LPA met with director Danika King and explained the purpose of the inspection.
LPA, in the company of the Director, toured the facility inside and out. It was noted that there was no school aged children in care at the time of the inspection director stated the facility has not had the school aged licensee active since the end of December 2023 and closed January 2024.
During the inspection, the director informed LPA that they are not using the school aged classroom and has submitted application to the Centralized Applications Bureau (CAB) wanting to add another infant/toddler class and increase the capacity.
LPA explained the process for closing the school age license or placing it on inactive status. The director expressed a desire to remain inactive. LPA provided the Licensee with a Request for Inactive Status form (LIC 9211). The director signed and dated the LIC 9211 during the inspection. Effective 12/04/24, the facility is officially in inactive status.
An exit interview was conducted with the director Danika King. A Notice of Site Visit form (LIC 9213) was provided and must remain posted for 30 days.
