On 9/28/2021 at 2:30PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) V. Wheatley conducted an unnannounced complaint inspection with Director Felicia Keene. LPA toured preschool building #2 and observed 34 children on their cots for naptime. The children were supervised by Staff #1 and Staff #2. The purpose is to complete the investigation for the above allegations. The owner Mr. Jones arrived during the inspection.

The director and owner were informed of the purpose of the inspection is regarding the above allegations. They both denied the allegations. LPA toured and inspected the preschool program and observed cleaning supplies and equipment in the classrooms inaccessible to children and in the restrooms. The staff state the surfaces are cleaned througout the day, after breakfast, lunch, snack, as well as at the end of the day after the children depart. LPA can smell the cleaning solution also observed a hand sanitizer station at each entrance.

According to the interviews with witnesses, the facility has quarantined during positive Covid-19 cases.

Based on the investigation, which included interviews with relevant parties and observation, although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur. Therefore, the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.

An exit interview was conducted. A copy of this report will be emailed to licensee along with appeal rights.
