Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Warren Birks conducted an unannounced Case Management inspection. LPA met with Director Yolanda Lopez who assisted with the inspection. The purpose of today's inspection is to inspect a barrier in the outdoor play area. This barrier prevents access to potential hazards such as parked vehicles.

Note: Per Director the outdoor play area was licensed with plastic removable barriers to prevent access to parked vehicles.

The following items have been corrected and cleared: Director Lopez installed the plastic barriers to prevent access to parked vehicles. All citations have been cleared.

Note: LPA informed Director that these barriers must remain in place when vehicles are parked. LPA measured 3 parking spaces and removed the measurements from the Total Prelicensing measurements. LPA discovered when taken out of the total the outdoor play area is still able to accommodate a capacity of 25 children. LPA also advised Director to install supports in the ground to ensure barriers stay in place.

The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00. This report along with a copy of the appeal rights was provided. Exit interview was conducted with Licensee Yolanda Lopez.
