25 | On September 23, 2026, at approximately 1:20pm, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Melissa Zaragoza conducted an unannounced, plan of correction (POC) visit at the facility. LPA met with licensee, Martina Rodriguez, and explained the purpose of the visit. Present during today's visit was the licensee and 12 (4 infants, 5 preschool age, 2 school age children, and 2 staff assistant.
On September 3, 2026, at approximately 8:40am, LPA Zaragoza conducted an unannounced, annual inspection and walk through inspection at the facility. During walk through inspection, the facility was issued 2 Type B deficiencies for missing pool inspection logs and staff missing Mandated Reporter Training Certificate. A Plan of Correction was discussed with the licensee. Per licensee, they will make sure their pool follows the AB2866 pool laws and have staff complete required training.
As of this date, 09/23/2026 LPA observed the licensees daily pool inspection logs, documenting inspections of the pool area, prior to children arriving at the facility. LPA also observed the staff assistant to have Mandated Reporter Training Certificate that current and valid through 09/08/2028.
LPA observed the facility to be in compliance with the AB2866 Pool Laws and Regulations on today’s date and staff to be fully qualified by having all the required documentation needed to be a fully qualified assistant.
Deficiencies cited on September 3, 2026, have been cleared during today's visit. LPA provided the licensee with POCs letter.
No deficiencies were cited today. Appeal rights were provided. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the licensee, Martina Rodriguez.
