25 | On 3/19/2022 at 1:00pm Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Loyce Phillips conducted a Case Management - Licensee Initiated visit. This inspection is due to an application received for a capacity increase. LPA, met with Licensee, Monet Morris and was guided on a tour of the facility. LPA observed 3 children in care with 1 assistant. The facility intends to operate up to 23 hours daily.
The areas identified on the facility sketch were inspected. This is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom home with living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry area, family room, and detached garage. Licensee resides in the home with 3 minor children. No other adults live in the home. Licensee provides breakfast, lunch, dinner and am/pm snacks to children.
Areas that are accessible to children are as follows: Living room, dining room, bedroom #1, bathroom #1. Children will have access to the right side of the back yard for outdoor activities.
The off-limits areas are as follows: Bedroom #2, #3, #4, bathroom #2, #3, family room, laundry area, kitchen, extended back yard and detached garage. The off-limits rooms are made inaccessible by a safety gate and child proof door knobs.
The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, poisons, detergents/cleaning compounds, medication and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children are inaccessible.
LPA observed age appropriate safe toys inside. Licensee advised; children will nap on mats. The facility has a smoke detector that was tested and operating.
