25 | On 04/22/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ranita Richmond conducted an unannounced visit to the above-named Home to conduct the Required 3-year Annual Inspection. LPA was greeted by Licensee Monet Morris. LPA Richmond observed no children in care, being supervised and cared for appropriately by licensee. Hours of operation are Monday- Sunday, 24 hour care. Licensee also provides overnight and weekend care as necessary. Licensee provides meals, snacks, and water.
LPA Richmond toured the home inside and outside for a Health and Safety inspection. The home is neat and clean with heating and ventilation for safety and comfort.
LPA Richmond confirmed that the home consists of living room, dining room, kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, laundry room, detached garage, and fenced backyard.
The ON LIMIT AREAS are as follows: living room (main daycare area), dining room (eating area) bathroom #1, and fenced back yard.
The OFF-LIMIT AREAS are as follows: bedrooms #1, #2, #3, and #4, bathrooms #2 and #3, kitchen, and laundry room all of which are inaccessible to children in care by child safety gate, closed, and/or locked doors and visual supervision.
Licensee is aware that the children must nap and have meals in the home.
LPA Richmond observed a fully charged 3A:40B:C Fire Extinguisher in the kitchen and working smoke detectors throughout the main daycare area. LPA observed working carbon monoxide detectors throughout the main daycare area.
There are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible to children in care. |
