According to Staff interviewed during the course of the investigation, staff stated children are always supervised and there is more than enough teachers to assist with supervision. Staff further stated that it can be challenging to ensure no child is injured even slightly due to working with children who are learning how to walk, want to climb on things, are not yet aware of their surroundings and others who may need additional behavioral support. Teachers stated that when an incident does occur, parents are contacted via Class Dojo or by phone call and informed of the situation. Staff further stated that they maintain incident reports in the child's file and a copy is given to parents. Staff also document and log incidents that they observe of children's behavior when no injuries are sustained.

According to Parents interviewed during the course of the investigation, they like the center. Parents stated that their children's teachers are very attentive and that their children have never been injured while in care. Parents stated there are always more than 2 adults present in the classroom. Parents further stated that their children like the school and have no further concerns.

Based on the evidence as documented above, the allegations have been determined to be Unsubstantiated. A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the allegation occurred.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director, Amy Martinez
