32 | According to parents interviewed during the course of the investigation, they have no concerns regarding their children's safety and well being. Parents stated that they like the Child Care Center (CCC) and believe adequate supervision is being provided due to lack of serious injuries.
According to children interviewed during the course of the investigation, children stated that they like their teachers and that their teachers are nice to them and always help them if they hurt themselves, give them a band aid and make sure they are okay.
-Pertaining to the allegation that – Staff did not seek timely medical attention for day care child.
According to the Reporting Party (RP), they were notified via text message when C1 sustained an injury.
According to Staff Interviewed during the course of the investigation, parent was notified of what happened via text shortly after and an ouch report was also written and provided for parent to sign upon pick up upon pickup. Staff stated that when injury initially occurred, it seemed minor.
According to parents interviewed during the course of the investigation, they have no concerns regarding their children's safety and well being. Parents stated that they are very comfortable with the manner which the staff informs them if their child sustained an injury. Parents further stated that for minor injuries they are fine with receiving an ouch report upon pick up and being verbally told, as the CCC does. Parents stated that for something serious, they would like to be called but would not like to be notified for every little scrape. Parents are very happy with the way the school communicates information about their children.
