On 10/26/2022 at 8:20am Licensing Program Analyst Suzette Ornelas arrived to the Reynolds Family Child Care Home for a capacity increase inspection for a large family child care. Hours of operation are being updated to Monday through Sunday 23 hour care. The facility has a completed 850 Fire Inspection report, a pull down fire alarm with light was added and is located in the rear playroom near the backyard exit.

LPA Ornelas completed a tour of the home inside and outside. Home is found to be in substantial compliance. A records file review of children present and licensee was conducted and all required forms are present including required licensing posted forms. The licensee will increase capacity for 14 children and a flyer was given to show how many children and their ages can be admitted to care. LPA provided licensee with information on infant safe sleep along with informative flyers. LPA also provided licensee with LIC311D -forms/records to keep at your family child care home, to ensure files are maintained up to date.

There are 3 playrooms that are on limits for children in care along with the backyard play area. The facility is spacious enough to fit 14 children. There are substantial toys and equipment for the increase in children. Currently, licensee has 6 mats /5 pack n plays, 3 tables equipped for 10 children and 10 chairs.
Proof of corrections have been discussed with Applicant, including:
-1 child table
-4 additional child chairs
-3 mats
A copy of this report was provided to the Applicant. Final license determination will be made upon review by the Licensing Program Manager and correction of the above issues. Applicant to correct items by 11/09/2022.

A copy of this report was emailed to the licensee with instruction to print out, sign a copy and mail the original copy to the El Segundo Regional Office. Hard copy will be placed in file.
