25 | On 05/09/2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Suzette Ornelas was at the licensed facility conducting an alternate inspection when the deficiency listed below was observed.
Deficiencies observed: LPA observed 4 children napping inside the classroom upon entering the facility and 13 children in the detached activity room in the back of the home awake and engaging in childcare activities.
Per Title 22, Division 12, Chapter 3, of the California Code of Regulations, the following deficiency is being cited: 102416.5(d)(1)(2) Staffing Ratio and Capacity (d) For a Large Family Child Care Home, the maximum number of children for whom care may be provided at any one time when there is an assistant provider in the home, including children under age 10 who reside at the licensee's home and the assistant provider's children under age 10, shall be either: (1) Twelve children, no more than four of whom may be infants; or (2) More than twelve and up to fourteen children only if the criteria in Section 1597.465 of the Health and Safety Code are met (see next page, 809 D).
Upon receipt of a Type A violation, licensee shall post and provide copies of this licensing report to parents/guardians of children in care at the facility and to parents/guardians of children newly enrolled at the facility during the next 12 months. A copy of the LIC 9224 was given to licensee.

The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00. A copy of this Report (LIC809 & LIC809-D), Appeal Rights (LIC9058) and Notice of Site Visit were reviewed and provided to the Facility Representative MAHA ALALI. |
