25 | On 12/2/2022 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Jillinda Chandler conducted an announced 1 Year Annual Required Inspection and met with Licensee, Alicia Arce. LPA observed 3 children during todays inspection . Days and hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm. Adults living in the home are licensee and licensee's adult daughter, all adults in the home have criminal background clearances.
LPA toured the home inside and outside, day care operation is conducted in the living room area only, there are two bedrooms that are off limits, LPA observed these rooms to be locked and made inaccessible to children care. The home was clean and orderly. Per licensee there are no firearms or ammunition on the premises, LPA did not observe any weapons. LPA observed the lower kitchen cabinet containing detergents and cleaning compounds to be made inaccessible by latching, LPA informed licensee that the cabinet containing detergents and cleaning compound shall have a locking mechanism attached. The heater located in living area was barricaded and inaccessible to children in care. There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector present. The home had adequate heating and ventilation. Safe toys and play equipment were observed. There were 2 infant aged children in care, LPA discussed Safe Sleep Regulations with licensee
