32 | Information provided by the Reporting Party (RP) indicates that an unqualified individual is providing care and supervision, Licensee yells and curses while daycare children are present, adult yells at the daycare children, Licensee disturbs the daycare children during nap time, uncleared adults are interacting with the daycare children, and licensee does not keep the home free from bug infestation.
Licensee disclosed that there have not been any adults providing care and supervision that are not part of the staff. Licensee disclosed that daycare children are not disturb during their nap time and that the children’s personal rights are maintained daily. Licensee disclosed the home is kept free of bugs but there are neighbors who have cats that wonder into the yard.
When interviewing staff, staff did not make any disclosures regarding the allegations. Staff disclosed that the daycare children are allowed to nap, there is no noise while napping, and it is always quiet. They have not seen any infestation of bugs inside or outside the home.
Based on LPA’s observations and interviews which were conducted and record review, although the allegations may have happened or are valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are unsubstantiated.
The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.
