On 2/12/2024 at 10:00 am, Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Deborah Lowe and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Crystal Green conducted an announced case management licensee-initiated inspection. Upon arrival, Licensing staff met with the Facility Representative Irene Olshansky. A census was obtained.

Today’s inspection is due to the licensee’s request to remeasure the facility for capacity determination. This preschool with a toddler component will have four classrooms (3 Preschool classrooms and one toddler classroom): Classroom 1, Classroom 2, and Classroom 3 (Toddlers), located at Building 5005, and Classroom 1, located at Building 4946. Total indoor activity space measured 2763.11 square footage, which is sufficient to accommodate the requested capacity of 65 preschoolers and 12 toddler children.
Licensing staff also remeasured the outdoor play areas. The measurements obtained for the outdoor area were calculated to be 5791.34 square footage, which can accommodate the overall requested capacity. Currently, there is no designated outdoor space for toddlers; the licensee states that she will submit a waiver requesting to share the preschool's designated outdoor space with the toddlers using a staggered play schedule.

An exit interview was conducted, and the report was reviewed with the Facility Representative, Irene Olshansky.

A notice of site visit was given to the facility representative and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days.
