25 | On 08/21/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lisa Clayton arrived at the Baranova Family Child Care home to conduct the Required Annual inspection. LPA Clayton met with teacher Kimberly Moran. There were no children in care. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. The Family Child Care home provides care to children ages 2 – 5 years of age. Licensee provides morning snack, afternoon snack, and water.
The home was inspected for safety, comfort, cleanliness, heating and ventilation.
LPA Clayton confirmed the duplex consists of the following: living room, kitchen, patio, 1 bedroom, 1-bathroom, and a fenced yard.
The on-limit areas are as follows: the kitchen, living room (main daycare room), bathroom and the fenced yard. The isolation area is in the main day care room.
The Off-limit areas are as follows: the bedroom, patio, and the front deck of the property connecting the duplex.
Furniture and equipment in the home are in good condition and free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. LPA Clayton observed age-appropriate toys, books and furnishings.
Per teacher Kimberly there are no firearms in the home. There are no pools, ponds, spas, or any other bodies of water on the property. LPA Clayton observed that all detergents, cleaning compounds, medication, poisons and other hazardous items are inaccessible to children by child safety locks on cabinet doors.
The home has a fully charged 2A10BC fire extinguisher in the kitchen, a working carbon monoxide/smoke detector combo in the living room. LPA Clayton observed a current Facility Roster. LPA Clayton reminded the staff of the importance of conducting disaster drills and keeping a log of drills conducted, in compliance with Title 22 Regulations. |
