On 08/29/2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Cristina Castellanos conducted an unannounced case management inspection at the above-mentioned facility for the purpose of ensuring that standards are being met in accordance with California Tittle 22 Regulations and California Health and Safety Codes.
LPA toured the facility and observed 93 children in care with 13 staff members providing care and supervision.
Upon arrival, LPA met with Assistant Director Aisha King and discussed the purpose of the visit. LPA observed that only two Notice of Site Visit were posted on the Parent Board. LPA inquired whether the Parent Board had been relocated and Assistant Director King informed her that the documents had just been taken down last night and would be relocated into the Director’s office. LPA reminded Assistant Director King that required documents shall be posted in a prominent, publicly accessible location in the center.
Shortly after at approximately 09:13am Director Demi Lara arrived at the facility and asked LPA what documents needed to be posted. LPA provided Director Lara form LIC125 Entrance Checklist – Child Care Centers as reference. Director Lara promptly started placing required documentation in a publicly accessible location. LPA on previous visits has seen required documentation posted in the facility.
An exit interview was conducted with Director Demi Lara and a copy of the report was provided. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
