Food Service:Facility is not providing midafternoon snack to infants

On 08/18/2022, Licensing Program Analyst Adrian Risher conducted a subsequent visit to deliver the findings for the above mentioned allegation. LPA met with Kristina Mitchell, Director. LPA observed 5 infants with 2 staff.

On 07/07/2022, ESRO received a complaint regarding the facility not providing midafternoon snack to infants. Information was reported that staff stopped providing midday snacks to the infants between 2-2:30pm.
On 7/12/2022, Director provided a copy of the menu and daily schedule for the facility. Director also provided a copy of the chldren's roster.

On 08/18/2022, LPA Risher conducted interviews with Director and staff. LPA observed children eating snacks. Staff stated that the children are provided breakfast, lunch, midday snack and a light snack at 5pm. Infants are provided additional feedings as needed. Parents are kept updated on daily activities thru ProCare app. Staff stated that the app is updated when children are down for a nap.

Although the allegations may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the above alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation of Food Service are found to be unsubstantiated. Children are provided breakfast, lunch and 2-3 snacks throughout the day. Infants are provided additional feeding times as needed. Based on interviews and observations, no evidence has shown that there is a food service violation

Exit interview was conducted and a copy of the report was provided to Kristina Mitchell, Director. Appeal rights were reviewed and provided.
