On 08/22/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Brittanee Cleveland conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to investigate the above allegation. LPA arrived at the facility at 09:45am and was greeted by Joan Nguyen, Director, who guided LPA on tour of facility. There were 14 children in care at the time of inspection.

During the investigation, LPA obtained roster, conducted interviews, and obtained supporting documentation. While interviewing the director, Director stated that they are not at the facility every day, but the designee is there Monday through Friday. Director provided documents with staff’s weekly schedules. The titles of staff members were provided by director. During the staff interview, S1, S2, and S3 explained that there is always coverage for if someone needs to step away. Director stated that they schedule an extra teacher to float if needed.

Based on LPA’s interviews, record review and observations, it’s be concluded that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. --- Page 1
