25 | On 07/27/2023 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Lisa Clayton arrived at the FCCH unannounced to conduct an Annual inspection and was met by Licensees Abigail Martinez Gonzalez and Alexis Santa Cruz. LPA Clayton observed 10 children in care today being supervised and cared for appropriately by both of the licensees and a fingerprint-cleared assistant. Operating hours are Monday – Friday 8a – 5:30p. Licensees provides am snack, lunch, and pm snacks.
Capacity as specified on the license is being maintained.
LPA Clayton toured the home inside and outside for a Health and Safety inspection. This is a single-family home, which consists of the following: 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, living/dining room, kitchen, fully fenced backyard, and detached garage.
The ON LIMIT areas are as follows: living/dining room (day care room), bedroom #1 (day care room), bathroom, kitchen, detached garage (day care play area) and fenced back yard.
The OFF-LIMIT area is as follows: bedroom #2, which is made inaccessible by locked doors, and supervision. The ISOLATION AREA will be in the day care room, and the children nap on cots in the day care room.
The FCCH has a fully charged 2A10BC Fire extinguisher, a fully charged 3A10BC Fire Extinguisher, and 3 working carbon monoxide/smoke detector combos. The facility has adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. Safe toys and play equipment are observed. The home has working telephone service and LPA confirmed the phone number is 424-298-8425.
Per the licensee, there are no firearms in the home. Any detergents, cleaning compounds, medication, poisons, and other hazardous items are made inaccessible to children. There are no pools, ponds, spas, or other bodies of water on the premises.
