Licensee was present with six children. All areas identified on the facility sketch were inspected. Licensee's home is a single story 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with Living room, Dining Room, Kitchen and laundry area. Main care is provided throughout the home. There are 2 rooms built onto the sides of the garage. The rooms are used for child care activities. Children play and eat occasionally in this room. There is a bathroom adjacent to this room for children's use only. Children sleep inside the home in the living room. There is a pool located in the back yard on the right side. The pool fence is made of wrought iron and encloses the pool on 2 sides. The remaining 2 sides are made of brick wall which separates property lines. The fence measures 5 feet in height with spaces of 4 inches between the horizontal bars. The bottom of the fence contains a sealed brick base, leaving no space between the bottom of the fence and the cement ground. LPA observed the pool gate to be self-closing and self-latching.
