25 | On 5/5/2022 at 2:20pm Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Denise Miranda conducted an unannounced Annual Required Inspection and was met with Licensee Jackie Toro and Licensee's wife, Elena Toro. An updated LIC279 Application form was provided to LPA showing the days and hours of operation was updated. The hours of operation are Monday – Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm and Friday 8:30am 12:30pm. LPA toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken. Current facility sketch reviewed.
This is a 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms home with living room, dining room, kitchen, front yard and backyard and attached garage. The following areas are designated as follows and Licensee confirmed the: Living room, kitchen area and daycare room, are the main care area that licensee will be provide care and supervision. LPA inspected the living room, daycare room, bathroom#2 and kitchen.
The off-limit:**Bedrooms #1, #2 and #3, bathroom#1, attached garage. All bedrooms are off-limits and made inaccessible by use of safety knobs and latches on the kitchen’s drawer.
There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises. There are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. No poisons were observed during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible.
The fireplace located in the family room is made inaccessible by a screen and per licensee will not be in use during daycare hours. There is a working fire extinguisher, smoke detector, carbon monoxide detector and adequate heating and ventilation for safety and comfort. Safe toys and play equipment are observed for age appropriate. Furniture was observed with no loose or sharp parts, clean and in good repair.
