25 | On 03/06/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ranita Richmond and Brittany Lovest arrived at the family childcare home to conduct a Plan of Correction visit and was met by Licensee Byeongim Park. LPA observed 5 children in care being supervised and cared for by licensee.
On 02/19/2025, Licensee was cited for the following:
1. Licensee will ensure that each child has a file including all of the Title 22 required documents.
2. Licensee will conduct fire drills and ensure the drill log is made available during Department's request.
3. Licensee will ensure that all detergents, cleaning compounds, beauty supplies, etc. are inaccessible to children in care.
4. Licensee will ensure stairs shall be fenced or barricaded.
5. Licensee will ensure poisons, medications, and knives shall be stored in a locked area.
6. Licensee will ensure prohibited items (walker) are not used and are removed from home.
7. Licensee will ensure cribs are free from loose articles and objects.
8. Licensee will ensure no objects hanging above or attached to side of crib/ play yard.
9. Licensee will supervise and document infant sleep.
10. Licensee will ensure Infant Sleeping Plan (LIC 9227) shall be completed for each infant up to 12 months of age.
11. Licensee will ensure infants are placed on their backs for sleeping.
During visit LPA Richmond and Lovest observed the following:
1. LPA reviewed children's file and found them to be complete, including immunization records and signed parent rights.
4. LPA observed stair barricade in place and used to barricade the stairs leading to the second floor.

An exit interview was conducted using Korean translator #SH609. A copy of this report, notice of site visit, deficiencies clearance letters were discussed and provided to Licensee. |
