25 | On 2/21/2023 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Suzette Ornelas conducted an unannounced Case Management Visit for the facility. LPA met with Director, Erendida Romero, and toured the facility indoors and outdoors. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Friday 7:30a to 5:30p.
LPA observed all required postings in a prominent area. LPA observed 72 children and 13 adults. All children are under supervision, including visual supervision, of a teacher at all times. Capacity and limitations as specified on the license are being maintained. A walk through of the classroom area was conducted. LPA observed 6 licensed preschool classrooms on the premises, 1 which is a toddler classroom.
All areas identified on the Facility Sketch were inspected. The following staff were present during this inspection:
Toddlers: 8 children with a ratio of 3 teachers
Pre-K 1: 12 children with a ratio of 1 teacher
Pre-K 2 16 children with a ratio of 2 teachers
2's 1: 13 children with a ratio of 2 teachers
2's 2: 12 children with a ratio of 2 teachers
Preschool: 11 children with a ratio of 1 teacher
A walk through of the classroom room space was conducted, the space was found to be clean and free from any potential hazards. LPA interviewed Teacher Assistant and Director. LPA observed classroom where incident took place (2's 2) and took pictures. Per director, an email was sent to District Manager with LPA Ornelas contact information with a request to obtain video footage of incident that occurred on 1/31/2023.
Exit Interview was conducted. Notice of Site Visit was provided and shall be posted for 30 days.
