On 12/11/2024 LPA Clayton conducted an unannounced visit at the Preschool to deliver the findings on the above allegation(s). LPA was greeted by Director Silvia Rodriguez. LPA Clayton toured the CCC inside and outside for Health & Safety inspection. LPA Clayton observed 38 children, being supervised, and cared for by 6 fingerprint cleared staff.

On 10/07/2024 ESCCRO received a complaint alleging the following:
• Staff handles day care children in a rough manner.
• Staff leaves day care children soiled for extended periods.

On 10/10/2024 LPA Clayton conducted an unannounced 10-day inspection, advised Director Silvia of the complaint allegations, toured the facility for Health and Safety, interviewed staff, obtained copies of the Childcare Facility Roster and Personnel Roster including contact information.

On 12/11/2024 LPA Clayton returned to the CCC and reviewed the facility Toddler Diaper Log and the Diapering/Restroom logs through September 2024 and conducted interviews with the staff.

LPA Clayton conducted a full investigation, which included facility visits, document review, and conducted interviews with staff and parents. Parents that were interviewed reported they have no issues or concerns with the care being provided to their children or with the staff providing care. Staff reported that they do not handle children in a rough manner and diapers/pullups are checked and, if needed, changed every 2 hours.

Based on LPA's inspections, interviews, and record review the allegations that Staff handles day care children in a rough manner and Staff leaves day care children soiled for extended periods are found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED, meaning that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director Silvia Rodriguez.

LPA Clayton posted a Notice of Site visit which is to remain posted for 30 days.
