32 | During the investigation LPA conducted interviews and inspected the physical plant of the facility. LPA did observe the infant classroom had a changing table, a bottle cleaning area and 3 sinks in close proximity. LPA inspected the sinks to feel if had hot water available. At this time there was no hot water available.
During the investigation the director stated they do not have hot water available in the area where infants are being cared for. The director stated they don’t know where they might be able to turn it on.
Based on LPAs observations and interviews, the preponderance of evidence standard has been met, therefore the above allegation is found to be SUBSTANTIATED. California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12 Chapter 1, 101239(e) are being cited on the attached deficiencies page.
Exit interview was conducted, appeal rights provided, and report was reviewed with the Director Shantil Alexander
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. |
