Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Dawn Dowling conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to the above facility for the purpose of delivering complaint investigation findings. LPA met with Michelle Burse, Director.LPA toured the facility and census was taken. There was a total of 4 children in care 1 Teacher supervising. Facility in ratio compliance.

Throughout the course of the investigation, LPA Dowling obtained the LIC 9040 Child Care Facility Roster and collected supporting documents(photographs of the thermostat and portable air conditioning units). LPA also conducted interviews with the Former Director, Teachers, and Parents.

Based on the investigation conducted, there is insufficient evidence to support the above-mentioned allegation to be true. Therefore, although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is Unsubstantiated.
