| LPA inspected the kitchen at the facility. The toddlers are provided with am and pm snack. The family provides milk, bottles, lunch and supplies to the the facility. LPA observed highchairs and tables that are used for eating.
There are no firearms or ammunition allowed or stored on the premises. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible. All poisons are kept in a locked storage area. LPA observed cleaning supplies stored in the kitchen and in the classroom.
Drinking water is available both indoors and outdoors for the toddlers. LPA observed water bottles/jugs that are individually labeled with the children's names. Director stated the staff use a Brita Walter Filter jug to refill the water bottles when needed.
LPA observed age-appropriate play equipment in the outside play area. There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises.
LPA tested the carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detectors during inspection. LPA observed fire extinguishers, thermometers and first aid kits in each classroom.
LPA completed file reviews for children and staff. Children and staff files were complete. Infants have proper infant sleeping plans as well as needs & services plans in their files. LPA observed more than one staff with current cpr and pediatric first aid certification.
LPA observed proper sign in/out documentation. All required Child Care posting were observed in the classroom and on the Parent Board.
No deficiencies will be cited today.
