25 | On 09/17/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Adrian Risher conducted an Annual Inspection. LPA provided facility representative with the purpose of the visit and was granted access to the facility. LPA met with Sydney Davis, Assistant. LPA toured the inside and outside of the property. LPA observed the home to be clean, safe, orderly and well ventilated. There were 10 children with 2 assistants. The operating hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 6pm.
LPA observed the home to have a Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen, Den, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. The Licensee utilizes the living room(infant room), Preschool room and 1 bathroom as the day-care. The rest of the home is inaccessible to the children. The living room is used for daily activities, eating and napping. The living room is now used as the infant room. The Preschool room is located next to the infant room. Staff conduct daily activities and eating in the preschool room. LPA observed playpens and mats that are used for napping. LPA observed a safety gate at the entrance of the living room. The preschool room is used as the isolation area.
Facility representative states that there are no weapons in the home and there are no pets in the home.
The kitchen and bathroom areas were inspected for proper storage of chemicals, detergents, cleaning compounds, medications and sharp pointed objects. These items were made inaccessible to children. Cleaning supplies are stored on top of the refrigerator. LPA observed electrical outlets with protective covers.
LPA observed operable smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors throughout the home which were tested during inspection. The home is equipped with 1 (2-A:10-B:C) Fire Extinguisher and First Aid kit which includes thermometer and band aids. A wall heater was observed with proper screening. The home has central air and heat.
The facility provides breakfast, lunch and snacks.
