On 3/1/2022 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jillinda Chandler made an announced visit to Motivating Minds University daycare center for the purpose of reviewing pre-licensing corrections from subsequent pre- licensing inspection conducted on 2/18/2022. LPA met with licensee Latiesha Austin – Licensee who provided a tour of the center.

LPA observed the following corrections:

The infant outdoor activity space was completely gated and physically separate from space used by children in the childcare center and school-age childcare center components.


The outdoor activity space was equipped with a variety of age-appropriate toys and equipment.
Benches and shading were observed, resilient cushioning was observed under climbing equipment and artificial grass turf was added to the out-door activity area

Based on todays observations the infant center will be granted a license with a capacity of 7 infants.
