32 | On 11/05/2024, LPA Clayton entered the apartment building next door and observed the CCC from the 1st floor stair exit, facing the infant yard. There were no children on the yard during that time.
On 12/18/2024, LPA Clayton entered the apartment building next door and observed the CCC from the 2nd floor courtyard, directly overlooking the CCC toddler and preschool play yards. LPA Clayton observed approximately 8-10 preschool children on the play yard, being supervised and cared for appropriately by 2 staff members. LPA Clayton also observed 6 toddlers in the toddler area being supervised and cared for appropriately by 2 staff members.
On 01/16/2025, LPA Clayton met with the RP and entered the RP’s apartment to observe the care and supervision of children at the CCC from her view and perspective. No children were observed that day. Due to the air quality as a result of the fires in the area, the children were on an ‘indoor only” schedule.
On 01/23/2025, LPA Clayton entered the apartment building next door to the CCC and observed the CCC from the 3rd floor courtyard directly overlooking the CCC toddler and preschool yards. LPA Clayton observed approximately 5 toddlers and approximately 7 – 8 preschoolers playing in their respective areas, all being supervised and cared for appropriately.
Based on LPA's inspections, interviews, and observations, the above-mentioned allegations are found to be UNSUBSTANTIATED, meaning that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation(s) did or did not occur.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Director Blanca Sanchez .
LPA Clayton posted a Notice of Site visit which is to remain posted for 30 days.
