25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lilia Hernandez conducted an unannounced inspection to the above facility on 08/15/2023. LPA arrived to the facility at 2:54PM and met with Lihi Tamam, Licensee who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. There were 11 children with 1 staff present upon arrival.
The purpose of the visit was to follow up on an inspection conducted on 05/10/2022 where it was observed that the facility had an in ground swimming pool that was back filled without a permit. Licensee was advised to make the backyard off-limits until a permit was obtained to have the in ground swimming pool backfilled.
Licensee submitted a copy of the permit dated 5/31/2023 for the backfilled swimming pool and an updated facility sketch of the backyard identified as a space accessible to children for outdoor play.
During the inspection LPA observed the outdoor play area to be fenced and there are no hazards to children present. There were toys, a small climbing structure and a large climbing structure for children to play. The permitted backfilled pool was observed to be covered with green artificial grass and a canopy that provides shade for children to play.
LPA advised Licensee that no children shall be left without the supervision at any time.
The backyard and outdoor space was observed to meet Tittle 22 Regulations and California Health and Safety Codes.
There were no deficiencies cited during today’s inspection.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with Lihi Tamam, Licensee. |
