25 | On 12/1/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Suzette Ornelas conducted an unannounced Annual Required Inspection. LPA was met by Licensee, ZARUHI TADEVOSYAN who guided LPA on a tour of the home. Days and hours of operation are Monday through Sunday 7a-9p.
LPA toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken. LPA observed 9 day care children and 2 adults. Capacity as specified on the license is being maintained. All areas identified on the facility sketch were inspected. This is a single story dwelling with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, 2 kitchen , living room/dining room, family room/play room, detached garage. The entire yard is fenced to ensure safety. Child care is provided in the living/dining room, bedroom 1, bedroom 2, and family room/play room. Children also have access to the bathroom, which is located in the hall way and the small kitchen towards the front of the home. Per licensee areas off limits to children and parents include: 2 bedrooms, 2 restrooms, kitchen located in the back part of the home, entire backyard and detached garage.
There are no bodies of water in the facility. There is a fireplace located in the living room/dining room which has been screened and made inaccessible to children in care. Licensee reports she has no firearms or weapons in the home. The home has working telephone service and LPA confirmed the phone number is (219) 900-9799
The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children.
