25 | On 12/15/2022 at 9:28am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Laticia Thompson met with Majid Shakeri (Applicants Husband) and conducted an announced visit to inspect applicants Swimming Pool plan of correction during Prelicensing inspection on 12/06/2022. LPA inspected pool and found the pool meets Title 22 regulation requirements. The fence is at least 5 feet high, does not obscure the pool from view. Fence is not easily climbable. The gate swings away form the pool., self close and is self latching. The self latching device is located more that 6 inches from the top of the gate. The gate is made of mesh material and installed so that children can not remove any portions. The bottom of the fence is not more than 4" from the ground on hard surface. The fencing is thick enough that it cannot easily be broken, removed or stretched by children. The mesh fencing strength can withstand the impact of toys. The fence does not readily bend upon impact.
License agrees that fencing will remain in place whenever licensed care is provided. The mesh fence makes the swimming pool inaccessible to children. Applicant was provided with regulation requirements Operation of a family child care home 102417 (g)(5) along with drowning postings on 12/06/2022 during the exit interview.
LPA observed newly purchased fire extinguisher in replacement of extinguisher that had not been inspected by fire department.
A copy of this report was provided to the applicants husband Majid Shakeri. Final license determination will be made upon review by the Licensing Program Manager.
