25 | On 3/29/2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Loyce Phillips conducted an announced Case Management - Licensee Initiated visit with Licensee, Alyssa Munoz, This inspection is due to an application received for a capacity increase. Licensee guided LPA on a tour of the facility and intends to operate Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm. Licensee provides breakfast, lunch and am/pm snacks to children.
Licensee currently has child-care insurance. Licensee resides in the home alone. The areas identified on the facility sketch were inspected. This is a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home with living room, kitchen, dining area, laundry area and detached garage.
Areas that are accessible to children are as follows: Living room, dining area, kitchen, bedroom 2 (infant/napping room), bathroom #1 and backyard for outdoor activities.
The off-limits areas are as follows: Bedroom #1, #3, bathroom #2, laundry area and detached garage.
The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, poisons, detergents/cleaning compounds, medication and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children are inaccessible. LPA observed age appropriate safe toys inside and outside. Licensee advised; children will nap on cots. Licensee has a carbon monoxide and smoke detector that was tested and operating. The fire extinguisher is located in the laundry area. Medications are stored in upper kitchen cabinet inaccessible to children. Knives were observed in a kitchen drawer inaccessible to children. Cleaning products are kept under the sink cabinet and upper laundry area inaccessible to children.
