25 | On March 6, 2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), V. Wheatley and conducted a case management inspection and was met by Licensee, Syreeta Robinson. The licensee's assistant, Staff #1 was also present. The purpose of the inspection is for an increase in capacity from small license to a large license.
LPA toured the home inside and outside. LPA observed 3 children playing on the premises of which 1 is under 2 years old. There are four bedrooms and two bathrooms. Licensee would like to include an additional bedroom to be used for napping. The licensee is currently using the living room and family room for child care. Licensee is requesting to use the guest bedroom for napping only. LPA observed a crib inside of the bedroom for infant to nap. LPA inspected the guest bedroom and it is safe and is being approved to use.
The home is clean and safe. The fireplace is barricaded.
LPA reviewed the files. The licensee's CPR/first aid expires 8/2026. The licensee's Mandated Reporter Training expires 1/2026. LPA observed the first aid kit fully stocked.
LPA inspected the outdoor area and observed a jacuzzi which is empty. The licensee will be provided the new bodies of water safety PIN. LPA observed a small dog behind a fence which is inaccessible to children. Licensee was advised to keep the dog food inaccessible to children.
LPA observed the home in full Title 22 Regulations compliance. No deficiencies observed.
A license for 14 capacity will be granted by the Department when the internal document is received from the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Licensee states the home was inspected by the Gardena Fire Department on February 26, 2025. The fire extinguisher is required to be mounted to the wall.
