On 2/20/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jillinda Chandler made an announced pre-licensing inspection for the purpose of adding a toddler component to the existing preschool. LPA met with director Joyce Woodruff and a tour of the facility was conducted. The licensee plans to accomplish the additional component by changing the TK room to a toddler room for 12 children ages 18 - 36 months and decreasing the preschool to 78 children for a capacity of 90 children. The day care is open Monday - Friday; 8:00 A.M. - 5:30 P.M.
There is an approved fire clearance on file conducted on 11/26/2024 by inspector Judkins of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Present at the center during todays inspection was Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Keyona Scott who conducted a Annual inspection.

LPA Chandler measured the entire facility and the following measurements were observed.
The preschool indoor area measured 4386.53 which will accommodate the requested capacity.
The preschool outdoor area measured 3793.8 which will not accommodate the requested capacity

The toddler indoor area measured 727.26 which will accommodate the requested capacity.
The toddler outdoor area measured 445.76 which will not accommodate the requested capacity.

Based on todays inspection the center will be recommended for 12 toddlers and 78 preschool children, pending approval of a waiver for Title 22, section 101238.2(a),for the toddlers outdoor activity space. And complete correction: barricade side of electrical box.

An exit interview was conducted and this report was discussed and provided to director Joyce Woodruff.
