25 | On 03/5/2025 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Doris Whitmore conducted an announced pre-licensing inspection for a family childcare home relocation. Before conducting Pre- Licensing Inspection. LPA Whitmore asked applicant to show a picture ID. Picture ID that was shown was Driving License. LPA Whitmore met with applicant Jenea Greenwood and toured the home indoors and outdoors. The applicant was the only individual present at the time of the inspection. LPA Whitmore did not observe any children. Days of Operation Monday thru Friday 6:00a.m.- 8:00p.m. Ages of children are 2 years to 12 years. Applicant was informed that any changes to ages, hours, days of operation shall be submitted to the department for approval prior. Applicant will provide breakfast, lunch, snack, and dinner.
Applicant is requesting to have a family childcare home with a capacity of 14. Fire Inspector Michael Judkins granted the fire clearance for capacity of 14 on 01/10/2025.
This is a one-story home that has (2) bedrooms and (2) bathroom that consist of a living room, bedrooms, , kitchen, laundry room ( washer and dryer in the kitchen), front yard, back yard, The areas on the facility sketch were inspected.The home was inspected for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone services, heating, ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents, cleaning compounds, medicines, and hazardous items that can pose a danger to children in care. Per applicant, there are no firearms, ammunition, or pets on the premises. LPA Whitmore did not observe any bodies of water in the home. There are no bodies of water to the left or right of the home. Per applicant there are no pets in the home. LPA Whitmore did not observe any pets. LPA observed a working smoke detector and carbon monoxide. Both were tested at the time of the inspection.There was a fully charged fire extinguisher 2A10 BC. There is a fully stocked first aid kit. The parents will enter thru the front gate to enter the daycare. Before entering, LPA Whitmore observed an area where children will hang their backpacks.The Main Day care will be in the living room. LPA Whitmore observed a television on the wall, a storage unit with blankets for the children. A kidney table, five orange chairs, a play washing machine and dryer, books, manipulatives, art materials crayons, markers such as paint brushes, fine motor activities, puzzles, and one small highchair in the living room there is another area. In this area LPA Whitmore observed more materials for the children and cubbies. .The cubbies were |
