13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Sandra Urena conducted a subsequent complaint investigation visit regarding the above noted allegation. At 10:15 am LPA Urena arrived at the facility, met with Administrator Francisca Recede and explained the reason for the visit.
On 08/25/2021, at 2:30pm the LPA interviewed Staff 1(S1), Staff 2(S2), and Administrator.
Regarding the allegation: Facility does not have a log to document time of diaper change and may not be assisting residents with diaper change, based on the information gathered during interview with staff. Staff stated that residents are changed three times a day. Morning, noon, and evening, before residents are out for the night. The following deficiencies were cited per Title 22, see attached LIC9099-D.
Based on the interviews with staff there is sufficient evidence to support the claim that staff left resident in soiled diapers for an extended period of time, more than the allotted time per regulations. Therefore, this allegation is deemed Substantiated at this time.
Citation was issued. Exit interview conducted, today's report and appeal rights were reviewed and issued. Signatures were obtained. Report was issued.
