25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Christine Wong and Tena conducted an unannounced annual required visit. LPA met with Administrator Sayda Hai and explained the reason of the visit, LPA used the infection control to conduct the visit which including the tour of the facility plan , review resident medication, review resident and staff files and observed the food supply.
The facility is located on top of the hill and is a two story house. The facility includes kitchen, dining area, family room, TV room, three residents rooms and two residents bathrooms, live in staff room and an attached garage. The administrator and family are living downstairs. All three residents' rooms were toured. All three residents rooms have two beds, two chairs, two night stand, required furniture and bed linen and sufficient lighting and closet space. The two bathrooms were toured and they are all clean, sanitary and in a good working condition. The hot water temperature were tested in both two residents bathrooms were tested between 105 and 109.9 degrees F. which is within the Title 22 regulation. The refrigerator, kitchen cabinet and garage which have the required two days perishable and seven days non perishable food supply. All the sharp knives and utensils were locked in kitchen drawer. The appliances in the kitchen were working probably. The common area including, family room, dining area and TV room have required furniture. The patio/balcony has a shaded area for residents to utilize. The front yard are maintained well.
Due to insufficient time, LPA can only observe the food supply and physical plant on today's visit. LPA will come back next time for the continuation.
There's no deficiencies were observed during the visit
