25 | LPA Spaeth completed an unannounced visit and was greeted by the caregiver. LPA stated the purpose of the visit was to ensure the facility phone was working. LPA explained had called the facility phone number but there was no answer. Caregiver stated had been at the facility since 7:00 am and had not received any phone calls.
At 1:35 pm, Caregiver checked the phone and observed the ringer had been turned off. At 1:40 pm, LPA called the facility phone number, 661-951-2085 and the phone did ring. Caregiver stated will continue to check each day to ensure phone is properly working.
The Administrator arrived to the facility at 2:45 pm and LPA stressed when the Administrator leaves the facility, Administrator will need to make sure the caregiver will be instructed to answer all calls to the facility.
Exit interview conducted, appeal rights discussed, and a copy of the report was given to Administrator. |
