On the above date, Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Christine Wong conducted a 24 hours health and safety check. During the visit, LPAs toured the facility and observed the hot water temperature measured at Room#1, #4 and #11 between 1341 and 136.7 degrees F which is beyond the required 105 - 120 degrees.

According to the California Code of Regulations (Title 22, Division 6, Chapter 8), LPA observed the following deficiency and issued a citation.

An exit interview was conducted and a copy of the Facility Evaluation Report and Appeal Rights were provided to Administrator Peter Babaian

The facility will ensure the hot water temperature will be between 105 degree F and not more than 120 degree F and the administrator will lower the tempature on the water heater send the copy of hot water temperature report to LPA for the upcoming 7 days

The requirement is not met as evidenced by: based on LPAs observation, LPA observed the hot water temperature was measured at Rm#1, #4 and #11 are beyond the required 105-120 degrees F which poses an immediate Health and Safety risk to residents in care.
