Interviews further revealed, that all residents interviewed stated that if they did not like what's on the current menu, they can order something else and the kitchen will prepare it for them as long as they have the supply. LPA observed that the kitchen has a sufficient supply of fresh fruits and other perishable and non-perishable food in stock. LPA also observed that an alternative menu is offered to residents upon request, which consisted of Salad, cheeseburger, hot dog, sandwiches, grilled Salmon, grilled chicken, pasta and a variety of other items specifically for breakfast, lunch and dinner. During the physical plants an adjacent room located near the dining room labeled the bistro. LPA observed a table that offered residents, snacks, fruits, coffee and tea. Based on information gathered during this and previous visits,  the department does not have sufficient evidence to determine that residents are not offered a nutritious variety of food. Therefore, the allegation that facility does not meet resident's dietary needs has been deemed UNSUBSTANTIATED at this time.

It was reported that Residents are not being fed in a timely manner, as it was alleged that residents are made to wait up to 90 mins for their food to be served in the dining room. LPA's interview with eleven (11) resident's revealed that all eleven (11) residents have not experienced or observed long wait times for their food to be served in the dining room. Majority of the residents stated they did not have to wait no more than fifteen  (15) mins on average for their order to come out from the kitchen. LPA's observations during lunchtime also revealed that the residents were being  served their food on average approximately within  fifteen (15) minutes upon seating at their table at this time.  Based on information gathered during this and previous visits, the department does not have sufficient evidence to determine that residents have to wait up to 90 mins for food to be served. Therefore, the allegation that residents are not being fed in a timely manner has been deemed UNSUBSTANTIATED at this time.

Exit interview conducted and a copy of the report issued.
