25 | At 11:15 a.m. on 11/09/2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Nicholas Reed conducted an unannounced case management visit. LPA met with staff and disclosed the reason for the visit.
As part of complaint investigation # 31-AS-20221108101558, LPA interviewed residents on 11/08/2022 from 12:05 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. and on 11/09/2022 at 10:40 a.m. LPA interviewed Staff #1 (S1) on 11/08/2022 at 11:30 a.m.
3 out of 3 residents reported difficulty communicating with Staff #1 (S1). Resident #1 (R1) reported that they can not really understand S1. Resident #2 (R2) reported that S1 uses a translation app at times, but it is an inefficient method of communication. Staff #2 (S2) is bilingual and translates for residents and S1, but S1 reported S2 has not been at the facility for approximately 4 days.
During today's inspection, the facility is not in compliance with Title 22 regulations. Deficiency is cited on the attached LIC 809-D page.
