Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jose Tan conducted an unannounced initial complaint visit at this facility to investigate the above allegation. LPA met with Administrator Brandy Maynard and explained the reason for the visit.

LPA conducted a physical plant tour at 9:43 AM, requested copy of facility documents relevant to the investigation and interviewed the Administrator. It was alleged that the facility is failing to follow Waste Management guidelines/policies and manage its garbage appropriately and making our neighborhood look trashy and unkept, causing a burden to the surrounding neighbors. LPA's observation during visit revealed that the facility is very clean and organized inside and out. LPA observed that the waste bins were in the far end of the backyard by the driveway. LPA's interview with the Administrator revealed that they just take out the trash bins every Monday, according to schedule, but did not see them fall on the street, otherwise they could have just cleaned it. Further interview revealed that the facility acquired new bins because someone took some of their bins and also to avoid overflow. (continued on LIC 9099-C)

Moreover, the Administrator did not receive any complaint regarding their garbage scattered on the street, otherwise, she would resolved it per their Neighborhood Complaint Policy as she had been doing since they opened this facility.

Based on the information gathered during this visit, this allegation is deemed unsubstantiated at this time.
