25 | On 2/15/2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Carol Heath and Kristina Diaz conducted a Pre-licensing (Capacity increase) inspection at the Landaverde Family Child Care. Upon arrival, the LPAs met with the licensee, Claudia Landaverde who guided the LPA on a tour of the facility. Family members residing in the home include 2 adult (licensee and her spouse) and 3 children (12 yr., 10 yr., 5 yr.). Per LIS, annual facility fees are current. All adults living in the home have been background cleared. Per the licensee, the hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. There were 4 daycare children (1 toddler, 3 preschool) and an assistant present during this inspection. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) were discussed.
The Home is set up as follows:
This is a one-story house with 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms home with a kitchen, living room, family room, dining area, and backyard. Parents will enter childcare through the front door. The garage is used for storage only, and no childcare activities are conducted there. There is no pool, spa, or other bodies of water on the premises. The home was inspected for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, central air, and heat and ventilation. The home has central heating and air conditioning. All windows have screens and are free of cracks, bugs, and debris. |
