25 | On Thursday, February 5, 2026, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Hanna Cha met with Licensee Ana Flores. The purpose of the visit was to conduct an unannounced Annual/Random inspection of the facility. LPA disclosed the purpose of the inspection to the licensee and toured the facility. LPA observed licensee providing care and supervision to two children. The current hours and days of operation are 23 hours/7 days a week. LPA informed licensee that licensee must stay awake during all hours children are awake.
Physical Plant: This is a one-story family home. There is a living room, dining room, kitchen, three bedrooms, two restrooms, back yard, and two sheds in the back yard. The off-limit areas are two bedrooms, two storage sheds in the back yard (key locked), one restroom and kitchen (child safety gate). LPA observed an off-limits ADU (key locked) adjacent to child care back yard area under a different address. Per licensee, children are supervised during outdoor play.
Indoor/Children’s Area: LPA inspected the indoor/children’s area for safety, cleanliness and good repair. Main care is provided in the living room, dining room, and bedroom #1 for napping. Children are provided with cots and playpens for napping. LPA tested the carbon monoxide and smoke alarm to be in operable condition. Per licensee, there are no firearms/weapons on the premises. Per licensee, there is no smoking in the home. Per LPA observation, there is no fireplace on premises.
Bathroom: LPA observed the child care bathroom for safe and sanitary conditions. The toilet and faucet are in good operable condition. LPA reminded licensee to keep all hazardous items inaccessible to children.
Kitchen: LPA inspected the kitchen for safety, sanitation, and good repair. LPA reminded Licensee, if food is brought from the child’s home, the container shall be labeled with the child’s name and properly stored or refrigerated. Licensee provides all meals during operational hours.
