32 | LPA entered the bathroom and observed the toilet, hand washing sink, hand soap. Cleaning compounds are stored underneath bathroom sink with child proof lock. PA reminded licensee to personal items like keep shampoos, mouthwash, razors, toothpaste, and other hazardous items need to be made inaccessible to all children in care.
LPA inspected the kitchen and observed it to be maintained in safe, sanitary, and good repair condition. LPA observed that knives are stored in cabinet high up making them inaccessible to children in care. Licensee stated she provides breakfast, snacks, and lunch for children in care. LPA reminded licensee that if children bring their own food, it must be properly sealed and labeled with child’s name. Per licensee there is not children with allergies or medication.
LPA inspected the outdoor front/back yard for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. LPA observed age-appropriate toys and play equipment that were in good repair. Front/back yard fence all around. Shaded area available to children. Per licensee and LPA observation there is no pools/bodies of water on premises. Licensee stated there is no pets in the home.
Licensee stated there is no smoking in the home. Fire/Disaster drill was not recorded per, licensee she completed drill in April of 2026 but she did not record drill. Technical Violation issue. Per licensee, there is no firearms on the premises.
LPA review a sampling of children’s files at the time of the inspection and facility roster. LPA observed child roster. LPA did not observed sleep logs for infant. Technical Violation issue LPA reminded licensee each child 0-24 months must have a sleep log. LPA observe licensee’s Pediatric First Aid/ CPR (American Heart Association) dated on 06/3/25. Mandated reporter certificate dated 6/24/25.
